Friends of Charlie
LightHouse for the Blind’s fourth annual “Friends of Charlie” Fundraiser, held on Saturday, May 3rd, was a huge success, bringing in $10,000 for scholarships for senior campers for Enchanted Hills Camp.
In 2004, a few people raised money to send their friend Charlie Wilson, who was losing his vision, to Enchanted Hills Camp (EHC), a program of the LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. This group became the "Friends of Charlie” who fundraise every year for camp tuition for blind and visually impaired seniors.
