Workplace Giving

Donate to the LightHouse through easy and convenient payroll deductions.

Here’s an easy way to support our efforts to serve the blind and visually impaired community. Your company may allow its employees to contribute to the nonprofit of their choice through payroll deductions. Some employers do this through nationally known organizations such as United Way or the Combined Federal Campaign for Federal Employees. Large corporations such as PG&E and Wells Fargo have their own workplace giving divisions. If you would like to support the LightHouse through payroll deductions, we encourage you to consult your human resources department to find out if your employer offers a workplace giving program.

Matching Gifts

Increase the power of your donation to the blind and visually impaired community. Your employer may match your gift to the LightHouse. Many companies, from Fortune 500 companies to small family-owned businesses, have matching gift programs. This means that these companies will match the donations you make by a designated percentage. The amount of the match varies, but can often be as much as double the amount you donate. We encourage you to consult your human resources department to find out if your employer offers a matching gift program and if the LightHouse falls within their qualifications for eligibility. If the answer is yes, fill out their form and mail it with your donation to:

Development Department
LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired
214 Van Ness Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94102

We will complete the form by confirming your gift and mailing it back to your employer.
