Students Sought for Medical Transcription Course

The LightHouse of San Francisco is seeking highly motivated students to participate in an 18 month, on site, medical transcription course that will prepare them for competitive employment as highly skilled, certified medical transcribers. This class, developed and taught by the Lighthouse of Houston, has resulted in a 99% employment rate among graduates.
We know that many venues offer medical transcription training. However, this course goes beyond the mere fundamentals of transcription; preparing students with a solid foundation in medical terminology, understanding of human anatomy and the human disease process. Other courses offer a basic framework while the Houston model incorporates a knowledge base into the educational structure that will set these students apart from other prospective employees.
We offer new classes as space permits.
