Sidewalks Are for Everyone – Neighborhood Campaign

The LightHouse was recently awarded a $45,000 grant from the San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH) for our Sidewalks Are for Everyone – Neighborhood Campaign project. This funding will allow us to involve people at the neighborhood-level to work toward preventing the risk of injury to seniors and individuals with disabilities caused by sidewalk obstructions (such as cars parked across sidewalks). We will be working in cooperation with the Senior Action Network (SAN) and the Independent Living Resource Center of San Francisco (ILRCSF) in carrying out this project.
