Our classes provide people the opportunity to participate in educational and fun activities that are adapted especially for individuals with vision loss. Additionally, we offer classes that give people new to vision loss tools and strategies to remain safe and independent.

Adult Ed Rec Classes
This range of classes offers adults of all ages, with special emphasis on seniors, the opportunity to stay active and healthy and to connect with others who are adjusting to vision loss.
Youth Ed Rec Classes
These classes give youth the chance to participate with other blind and visually impaired youth in accessible recreational activities, like rock climbing. Additionally, the LightHouse offers career workshops, training opportunities and internships to prepare youth with vision loss for entry into college or the workforce.
Vision Rehabilitation Classes
Vision rehabilitation is the process by which an individual adjusts to losing his or her vision. The LightHouse offers a variety of classes that assist in this adjustment process and help people remain safe, active and independent.
