TMAP: Tactile Maps Automated Production
Get a fresh look at frequent destinations or discover new routes with a tactile map!
The Lighthouse, in partnership with the Smith Kettlewell Eye Research Institute, offers tactile maps with Braille legends for visually imparied travelers and pedestrians. This is also a useful tool for mobility instructors.
TMAPs cover one square mile centered on a specific street address, or intersection with a marker to show the position of the address.
T-Maps are free for individual California residents. T-Maps are $15 for businesses in California and for individuals and businesses outside of California.
